Every society and culture changes. It's not a supernatural process. But nowadays as modern technologies have been developed that natural process has just got more fuel in its jet and the opportunity to speed up. Modern technologies mainly the Internet has made the word "Globalization" possible.
Globalization has introduced another old theory in a new way and that is "The Cultural Mixing ". In a time when the whole world can be considered in the fist of hand cultural mixing is so simple that people mainly the teenagers are adopting foreign cultures in a very simple way like a trend because teenage is the age when people actually adopt a culture fully. Should I set examples here? Absolutely not because we are the examples.
Now coming to the perspectives of Bangladesh, it's a Muslim majority country, not an Islamic country/state which shares secular views in terms of practicing religion. As Muslims are the majority here and they have their Bengali Muslim culture which absolutely not like Arabian Muslim culture we can say that if Bengali Muslim culture is changing approximately the whole Bangladeshi society is changing. Again the change of society just doesn't include the cultural change.
So what actually happening in Bangladesh is that the conservative outlook of common people is decaying & people are being more influenced by western culture. Of course, it's a long term process and still, conservation looks exist as well as Islamic rules.
In India, the phenomena are slightly different than Bangladesh because of their early development of westernization. But still, the same situation exists in India like Bangladesh that they can't deny. What's that actually?
It's a chaotic situation for every country where secular and conservative mindsets exist and their numbers are nearly the same. In India, most people without Muslims are now showing the western mindset. Some Muslims are too. Of course, Muslims are the minority in India but not all Indians like to leave their culture. Whatever, I'm being jammed up.
In Bangladesh western culture is being followed only in big cities like Dhaka, Rajshahi & Khulna but secularism is everywhere. Those who are familiar with the British Secularism and French Secularism will understand what I'm actually talking about here.
It's so simple.
India is moving towards French secularism and Bangladesh to British secularism just like Turkey.
